Founded by Lise Coirier in 2009 by Brussels-based creative consultancy Pro Materia, TLmag_True Living of Art & Design is at the forefront of craft-led and material-oriented art, architecture, culture, design, fashion, photography, hospitality and urbanism. Published in both French and English, biannual issues are distributed internationally to growing readership. Each edition focuses on the latest developments in a given region or looks at cross-cultural dialogues by featuring extensive Special Guest interviews with leading figures, in-depth Brand Stories, talent-scouted Excellence & Creation surveys, inspirational Mix-Match photo series, applied Living with Art & Design reviews and Real Life culinary or city reports. With an editorial line that captures not only the physical process but also the thinking behind different creations, TLmag reveals a full picture and becomes a strong resource for professionals, collectors, students and the general public alike. Printed with high-quality offset paper, each bookzine-like issues is an enjoyable and collectable read. Launched in September 2015, TLmag’s new revamped and interactive online platform extends the printed magazine’s editorial vision as an highly immersive online resource. Following the the chapter structure as mentioned above, articles feature fully-integrated large-scale images, videos and colour-coded texts within a series of seamless online editions. Each of which is targeted to review and promote TLmag-partnered events, fairs, brands, as well as specific craftsmanships, materials and creative territories. Echoing the focus of each printed issue, articles keep readers update but also allow them to shop from collaborating brands (from Spring 2016), search TLmag’s archive by colour and read weekly haikus for inspiration and beauty.

Printed biannually, TLmag is a fully bilingual magazine published in French and English. With an editorial focus on a specific region or the shared zeitgeist between multiple regions, each bookzine-like issue expands into six comprehensive chapters:
